I am unsure if their special aromatic is the same? When I called that was the closest the lady could give me.
Is there a substitute for special B?? Bill |

Me too. I actually prefer CaraAroma but NCM doesn't carry that either. Special aromatic is nowhere close to Special B (5°L vs. 110°L). CaraMunich 120 is also close to Special B. If they don't have that, try TF Dark Crystal Malt II. Any crystal malt in the 110-130°L range should be reasonably close.

Or buy your Special B/Caraaroma somewhere else! Sometimes it's not worth compromising or substituting just to save a few bucks.
