I have no complaint about the rule, and I will obey it. I know I've said "farking" a few times, though, and in all honesty I'm not clear if that is kosher or not. Is it a distinct word or a misspelling?

I think we agreed long ago (before I was even a mod) that farking, frigging, freaking, WTF, etc. were ok. I know it's not consistent but it is what it is and we must live with it.

See...I use ####, ####ing, ####ed, ####er...Keith worked hard to put the filter in and I want to use it. (IMG:style_emoticons/brewboard/biggrin.gif) I found a way to say the F word if I want if there is a filter...but I only used to use the word in chat. HumDum made me promise.

I use #### cause it makes me feel better to see it typed on the page and to hit send. I spell check usually before I send a post out, so I rarely read it once it's sent.

I know...if the filter is messed up...I get a 24 hour vacation. (IMG:style_emoticons/brewboard/smile.gif)

Don't give me that. I'll call you a big fat liar if you say you don't do it yourself. Keith put the filters in place because we ALL use those words, but they aren't as easily explained to bosses OR our 7 year old children.

I was trying to put a POSITIVE spin on Banned Camp. 'Time Out' always feels so NEGATIVE.

We have one infamous ex-member who is so banned, you're not even allowed to use his name. Polar bears are verboten because.....well, just because.

Yeah, if you type his name, it gets automatically edited out. It's pretty funny. I imagine the level of anger has to get really high before a mod bans your whole existence from a board.

I wish I could remember the name now.
