I think it looks pretty good, although you're doing a mini-mash right? Seems like you are.
I like that hop schedule. Packing it full of flavor. One thing i might consider is cutting down on the munich a little. I think it might add a bit too much malt when you're really going for the hop character. Other than that, Enjoy.
May your beer flow like wine!

More info please.
Looks interesting, though. I have a Zeus hop plant but didn't get much out of it this year as it was the first year. I'd like to hear what those zeus taste/smell like.

Brian, Zeus is reported to be the same as Columbus. In any case is a high alpha American "C" hop. I planted a rather large rhizome also this year and got over 2 oz. yield of really good hops. For first year I was very pleased.

Dirtyd49, that recipe looks great to me. Not knowing how big a Hop Head you are, I would try the beer out first before you dry hoped with the whole 1.5 oz.

Yeah, I'm familiar with zeus being the "Z" in CTZ, so I know approximately what it should be like. But it's not the same as columbus. It's a relative of columbus. So I'd love to hear what a zeus-only brew is like.

I was close on the OG 1.062 is what I got. I just tried a little after being in the fermenter and it is hoppy, but still very sweet. I am glad I used a little wheat malt for body. The smell was the best part so far, I will let you know when I keg in a few weeks. I might not dry hop due to the smell already.

I was wondering if any one has done any thing close to this and played around with dry hopping vs not. I might split the batch? We'll see.

I have done a few batches really similar.
Last yeat I split a batch; dryhopped one, and not the other.
They ended very different, with the dry hopped batch much more aromatic and fresh.

In my experience,
dry hopping imparts a strong fresh aroma, much different than late hopping aroma.

Split it and see what you get! Enjoy.

What would you use in place of the DME to go all-grain?

I sampled this batch today... it was good. the malt gives it enought back bone to support the hops. The zeus were a little more metallic then the columbus. I don't know if anyone else has expericenced this but is was very good overall. It was fruity and had a complete hop taste and very fresh smell. The bitterness was balanced. if this lasts more then a few weeks I will be happy. I will do this again next year for sure. I am really enjoying the malt bill and may use the same on a few other late hop recipes.
if you brew something similar please give me your feed back on your brews.
