This forum is a place for posting general questions, comments, and feedback about HBA / Alt Bev for Jess (the owner) to read and respond to. This is not a place to initiate urgent or order-specific questions. Before posting here, ask yourself if the general public will benefit from the question and answer. If not, you should probably call or email Jess directly. If you have a complaint, Jess would also appreciate the courtesy of a private first contact so that he has the opportunity to correct the problem to your satisfaction.

There's a new mill at Alternative Beverage that is a beast. It is supposedly to make it so there is no charge for cracked grains!

I'm guessing that Jess already knows that. (IMG:style_emoticons/brewboard/smile.gif)

I wouldn't bet on that, you never know what Jess is drinking! (IMG:style_emoticons/brewboard/biggrin.gif)

I have seen it, and it's brother; they are mean looking machines and nothing like any of us have at home. Jess, you should post a few pic's. Next time I go by, I'll try to remember to bring a camera and take a few pictures and post them.

Although I didn't bring my camera, I did use one of Jessí mills to crack my grain for a batch; the grain bill was the same for a beer that I recently brewed. We did this to see if I would experience any differences between using my mill and Jessí.

What usually takes me 2-3 minutes on my motorized Barley Crusher, took about 10 seconds to go through the beast! My pre-boil, post-boil, and original gravity readings were identical to those I saw when using my mill.
