I think that to complete the connection both people must be online at the same time. I left my machine connected after I went to bed. Once it displays the other person's name and not just the number you can tell if they are online.
I withdrawal my dirty rat bastard accusation of Kremer, and look forward to chasing him down with my Dolphin Cruiser. |

I tried this drunk last night. I rocked in the first race against Seagis, then the connection got flaky for everyone, then I hit every freaking wall for about 6 or 7 games and lost about 1500 points. Friends do not let Friends kart drunk! Could not hook back up woth Seagis after the first race.
