I upgraded the operating system and server packages tonight, and one minor glitch caused the brewboard to go down for about 30 minutes. I swear I actually practiced the upgrade on a spare system first and didn't have any problems. (IMG:style_emoticons/brewboard/smile.gif) Murphy's Law strikes again. (IMG:style_emoticons/brewboard/sorry.gif)

We were all in chat and someone asked if the BB was down, so I opened a new window to look...came back and said it was and not to leave, you won't be able to get back. So of course 3 people left.
I remember someone once told me chat wasn't effected if you're there and the BB goes down. I think it's cause it's hosted on another site maybe? What I know about the BB software, I can count on 1 hand however. (IMG:style_emoticons/brewboard/smile.gif) |
