Ok, I visited this new brewery Saturday afternoon. Their first offering is a German Altbier. Those that know me, know this is one of my favorites.
They hit the mark spot on. In talking with John, they brought over a Duesseldorf brewmaster to help them get started. All they need is a bottling line. They sell 36oz and 72oz swing top growlers at the bar. The next offering is a Koelsch. Wow. brave men. Sweet. I'd like to hear other opinions from those that have tasted this nectar. OMB Website |

Well,
What can I say? Those that know me, know that Alt's are my favorite beer! The only thing bad about OMB is that they are very close, and that have severely ran over my dream of having a brewery that brewed Alt's and other German beers. With luck, they'll get a restraining order placed against me from time to time to keep me out! Great Alt, great people, and I'm looking forward to the Kolsch.
