How can we call ourselves Homebrewers when we purchase everything from the homebrew suppliers just like the Microbrewers?
If we can't save any $ it's a waste of time! In Tn. we pay $18.00 for a case of Natural? Brown Sugar is $1.98 for 2lbs! Invert it when you boil it in your wort by the acid from the hops! walla! you have belgian candied sugar or corn sugar. Inverted our friends the yeast love it, and so will you! The price is right! Get the alcohol from the brown sugar pluss the natural molasses left in the brown sugar! For 30 gallons use 6lbs of malt extract ( of your choice) for head retention and a richer flavor. Jump in here Old Fart. BootLager is still brewing! |

6# of dme or lme in 30 gallons is hardly beer at all. If your just looking to get blasted for cheap, I don't think this forum is even worth your time.
