Hello Brewboard it has been 14 months since my last confession...oops wrong booth (IMG:style_emoticons/brewboard/smile.gif) ... I "forgot" about a batch of Dunkelweissen I had in a closet for 14 months, the airlock has a tiny amount of water in it but the beer still looks like it should I have not opened up the airlock or moved the bung. DO you think it still has a shot or should I dump it?

Try it out, it might be oxidized and may even have generated some acetic (vinegar) character, I would fathom a guess that it's ripe for davey jone's locker. Let us know how it turned out.

Yes, give it a try. Try not to think "dunkel" when you try it, though. As mentioned, it might have experience some flavor evolution, but it still may be a fine beverage. Also, it would make a difference whether this was setting on a yeast cake or not.
