All of HBA's kits are excellent, but HSPA kicks ass. I've brewed the extract and AG versions of this kit and both IMHO are better than SNPA and my friends concur. (IMG:style_emoticons/brewboard/smile.gif)

I agree, this is a fantastic kit and really helped me on my way to AG brewing. This was the first AG beer that I made that didn't stink. The willingness of HBA to crack the grains in the kit made a world of difference for me and it was so nice to actually find AG kits (at the time I couldn't find very many) so I could work on my AG brewing and not recipe fomulation.

All of the High Sierra beers are excellent. Got a keg of the stout fermented w/wlp002 tapped in the basement right now. One of my favorite things about brewing is recipe formulation, but I pick up the HS porter from time to time. It's always a hit at parties, as is the pale. Sierra Nevada's one of my favorite breweries, too. I never get tired of it & it's getting more & more available in places that used to only sell BMC.

This is pretty much my house beer. Its one of my favorites and one that I have found pretty much any beer drinker can enjoy.
