Tried my first Sam Adams Chocolate Bock today. It is the best chocolate flavored brew I think I have ever had ! I have been experimenting with choc. for the last year and have tried every choc. porter,stout or bock I could find and this beats them all. If there is a clone recipe for this I would love to know about it because at about $6.00 per glass its a bit pricey.

I found this to be a very good beer and well balanced. Somewhat sweet and a good mouthfeel. Can't find it anywhere local now.
Was trying to locate a good clone recipe. My last attempt to clone it was not very accurate. The cocoa nibs added too much bitterness and it needed a bit more body. Anyone have a good clone recipe for this brew? |
