This is definitely one of my favorite brews so far, and I've had the same comment from the few people who have sampled my beers. Very smooth, great session beer!

Finally got a taste of mine last week. It's pretty darn good. I wouldn't hesitate to order it again.

I've tried several HBA kits, and this is one of only two that I can't really claim to be impressed by. "Nut brown" isn't really a well-defined category, and my impression is that commercial nut browns vary widely in taste. I've made the HBA kit 2 or 3 times, though, and it has always seemed to be on the low end of the spectrum in terms of the nutty/bready taste I wanted. It isn't bad, of course; it is completely drinkable. Just not as flavorful as I would have liked. And of course, it goes without saying that I may just not have done a good job with it. I was brewing the extract kit, by the way.

I found the nutty flavor developed as it aged, and really enjoyed it. I did the AG version.

Damn.. Mine didn't last long enough to age. (IMG:style_emoticons/brewboard/wink.gif) I think my share of the 5 gallons(split 3 ways), was gone in under 2 months after bottling. t'was a good beer.

I brewed this extract recipe once a little over a year ago. Turned out very well, was super pleased. (IMG:style_emoticons/brewboard/smile.gif)

I enjoye this one alot, enough so that I will brew it again. My friends also enjoyed it, even the one who only likes IPA's and thinks that brown ales are for commoners (IMG:style_emoticons/brewboard/biggrin.gif)
