I made this about a month ago, so it hasn't really aged out well as of yet. I'm giving my thoughts now because I know how it's going to turn out. It's a very clean, crisp lager. Very clear in the glass. Average to below average head retention. My taste is a little raw now, but that will change over the next couple weeks. The taste will most assuredly be aimed at the BMC crowd, which (actually) is why I brewed it......for the relatives. I have no doubt they will truly enjoy this beer. I, however, will be tapping the JPA.

Just bottled this, but I did extract, and it came out awesome - I'm psyched for my first lager. I was worried. I made it for yard work and for friends that don't like homebrew. Even my SWMBO, who drinks not only Corona but Corona light, thought it was good and it wasn't carbed yet.
I highly recommend this kit. |
