Apperance: Hazy brown. It poured with a big frothy head, but it quickly faded.

Smell: Mostly the peppery/clovey phenols typical of German Hefes. A hint of some bock-like charactor. Some alcohol.

Taste: Again with the clove. Some banana. Again typical of Hefes. Wheaty. Rasins or prunes. Alcoholic as it warms a bit.
Really good.

Mouthfeel: Quite full bodied. Velvety smooth. Fairly high carbonation. Alcohol warming near the end.

Drinkability: Man. If you keep these too cold, you could easily drink 2 or 3 of these monsters and end up on your face. The classic example of the style. Outstanding.

This is the weizenbock all others try to live up to. It has more in common w/ a belgian ale than w/ a regular bock beer. Tasty stuff.

Scored me a bottle. I plan on doing a 3 way sidexside w/ my split batch using 3068 and 3333 and the Aventinus....

This is my favorite commercial beer, I always have a few on hand. I've tried to clone it and can get close, but not quite the same.

Without a doubt, one of my favorite beers, and an excellent example of the style. First time I had it, I had no clue what the ABV was. Drank 4 and couldn't figure out why I was buzzing.

A fine example of the style, and will be a regular whenever found locally. Tasty, and a wicked buzz from a four-pack.

By far one of the best. This is a Capital Ale House staple and for good reason. It was their "steal the glass" this week.
