I noticed this one at the grocery store not known for it's stellar beer selection and decided to give it a shot. It was good, no Hoegaarden or Celis White mind you, but no throw away either, I found myself comparing it to Celis more than Hoegaarden. It has all the characteristics of a nice Wit, but to a lesser degree. The packaging is notably devoid of any reference to Molson/Coors, (parent company). Clever marketing ploy if I say so myself. A bit pricey IMO at $6.37 per sixer (in Houston) but I'd buy this one again if faced with a no-Celis-or-Hoegaarden-Wit-craving situation. I give this one an 8.

I'm with you. It's not top-notch stuff, but isn't bad either. Also, it's available at many grocery stores that may not have stuff like Hoegaarden or Celis.

I agree, but still only gave it a 5. I'm blessed/cursed with a grocery store with pretty good selection. The shelves have got to be pretty empty before I find myself reaching for the Blue Moon....

I gave it a 5.....HBA's Sell-Us kit is far better, IMHO. I swear that I can taste corn in Blue Moon.

I gave it a 4. Natty Light is a better option for the money; not the taste.

It seemed pretty good 4 yrs ago; recently bought some for $6.78 and jeez, sucked arse. And $7 for a mass produced Coors product, give me a break. Same can be said for Killian's. Used to be alright but sucks beyond belief now.

It does have a cloudy wheatiness to it, but no "Belgian" flavors to speak of.

I wasn't impressed at all. All the white, none of the Belgium. Lame.

Drinkable, not great or anything. It is, however, a good gateway beer to get noobs into Belgian Whites.

For some reason, SWMBO likes to put a few ounces of framboise in hers. Whatever...

It was ok on tap a few years ago, and this past week I had the bottles, and was less impressed. It is a girlie beer.

To me the wheatiness even tastes a bit off with this one - almost unclean/spoiled. It's also in a price league with better quality options.
