HighTest sent me a message with the following formula that he derived on empirical data: %ABV=(OG-FG)*1.04678 / (0.0061773047+0.78614031/FG)
This is the formula that I will be using myself, as he showed his work over at the NB forums. |

is there something I am doing wrong? I click on the word "spreadsheet" at the bottom of this initial post, but the web page just keeps bringing up and error message. Any suggestions? Thanks (IMG:style_emoticons/brewboard/blush.gif)
I've also tried downloading this and it won't respond. I have open office and from looking at the other posts, that should open it. It opened the other melomel calculator that was here in these posts. Am I going about this all wrong? I'm new here, so I'm still trying to figure out how everything works. Thanks again.
