Wiring A Bodine Motor
Forward and Reverse

Contributed by konertjm

I have received numerous inquiries as to how I wired my Bodine motor for my grain mill. This diagram assumes a few things.
1. This is the 320 RPM motor with 56 inch lbs of torgue.
2. It comes supplied with start and run capacitors.
3. The start capacitor will function in forward and reverse.
4. You will NOT be using a relay for the start capacitor, maybe someone with more knowledge than myself will straighten me out on this, but I don't believe that a relay could be wired for start capacitor fwd and rvrse.
