Amiad Mead - Semi-sweet mead imported from Israel. Found at Russo's import grocery store in Grand Rapids, MI.

This mead must use a very unusual honey, to my tastebuds. My initial impression was somewhat negative, but it grew on me. It was moderately sweet, somewhat over sulfited, and gave interesting floral (citrus?) notes along with an unusual but pleasant honey flavor.

Not a prime example of mead, but I did finish the bottle, and I would buy it again if better meads were not available.
