"Where to find CO2" is just one of many repetitive threads that come up, but by random chance CO2 was in my cross-hairs when I got that I-need-to-code-something-tonight bug. Much like George's water database, this is a repository of locations to find CO2 near you. Refill, exchange, prices, do they fill while you wait?... that sort of thing.

Many thanks to George Schmidt. He was kind enough to take time out of his schedule to grant me access to his server and let me put this page up on his domain with the water database -- One-stop-shop! You can find it here at Schmidt-House.

It's a pretty simple little page that could be modified for any number of things, such as a database of LHBS's. Maybe some night over the holidays I'll feel inspired and port this for another use. Let me know if you have any ideas.

Please take a moment to help a fellow homebrewer and fill 'er up!

PS - Could a mod sticky this for a while and let it get populated with data?

Eric

If you are looking for more info to add, how about propane tanks and refilling spots. I know a lot of brewers just do the Blue Rhino thing, but some would rather not exchange their tanks. Especially if they bought a new one, just a suggestion. (IMG:style_emoticons/brewboard/biggrin.gif)

Thanks Jim! (IMG:style_emoticons/brewboard/smile.gif) I actually just fixed the last bug -- it had to do with editing the 15 lb exchange price -- totally random typo in the update query! Anyway, thanks to everyone who's loading this database. Hopefully it'll be useful to someone down the road.

I like the propane idea! I hadn't thought of that. So far I've heard brewing-related Pod-cast sites, propane refill/exchange locations, and LHBS locations. Hopefully it doesn't sounds like I'm trying to flood homebrewers with so many resources that it's difficult to keep straight. Just trying to find a few that are most valuable and frequently used.

i just added some info.

can you put in a beergas option too? i just put it in the details, but i think it'd be good if people also knew where they could get beergas at.

edit - maybe also a hydrostatic test option too, and how much it costs?
