Hey Guys...

I'm sure you've all seen my numerous posts and questions about kegging and my future keggerator. Well... Just got my FedEx email stating that my Keggin Kit from Midwest will be arriving tomorrow... So..I was getting all excited about the prospect of setting this all up tomorrow afternoon and Carbing up my Cream Ale..

Low and Behold, my Wife just called saying she thinks she's going into Labor... Damn Kid is already screwing up my beer plans..

I'm just kidding of course.... Wish us luck!

Don't wait around or you'll never hear the end of it.

My wife is still pissed because I stopped to get a Coke on the way to meet her at the hospital for our youngest. It's been over six years and she'll still bring it up occasionally. (IMG:style_emoticons/brewboard/wink.gif)

Good luck buddy! I had just mashed in IIPA when my wife had false labor 4 months ago.

And no, the kid won't screw up your brewing. Tell your wife that it could be worse, you could be a golfer...more expensive and you can't stay at home with the family when you do it. Also, she won't remember the afternoons you babysat while she got a spa treatment when you decide to brew a batch...so you'll have to remind her. (IMG:style_emoticons/brewboard/devil.gif)

Now, go become a father!!! (IMG:style_emoticons/brewboard/smile.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/brewboard/smile.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/brewboard/smile.gif)

Let us know how things go. I've got 3 kids myself and they are such a blessing we're hoping for a 4th. Brewing is actually a hobby that one can do around the home when the kids are napping/sleeping.

What I like is that you paused on your way to the hospital to post on a beer board. Those are some good priorities! (IMG:style_emoticons/brewboard/hehe.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/brewboard/tongue.gif)

What used to be brew days become late brew nights - doughing in at 8, cleanup by midnight. Great as long as the Mrs take the early shift the next day...

I tried brewing at 5 am before, it was OK but sucked not being able to have a few while brewing...

Congrats, on the new baby. I am a avid golfer. Nothing beats having a homebrew after a day on the golf course.

Good luck. You are going to need it. That pin lock, gas in/beer out balanced line stuff is tricky stuff. (IMG:style_emoticons/brewboard/tongue.gif)

Yep, my last name is Olson. I don't have any relations in NY that I am aware of, though. Oh well. I'll still (IMG:style_emoticons/brewboard/cheers.gif) , though!
