Please be aware that the site owner, administrator and moderators have unanimously agreed to add a new rule to the Official Brewboard Policies.
10. Please be discreet with any discussion of current illegal activity. We do not wish to incur any liability, nor do we wish to make any member uncomfortable with discussion or images of your latest bag, ongoing tax evasion, home distilling, etc.

This should be fairly self-explanatory but if there are any questions, please feel free to contact a moderator or ask for clarification in the Brewboard Info forum. Our intent is not to restrict discussion of topics such as the decriminalization of marijuana but rather to protect the owner of the site from potential liability resulting from open discussion of illegal activities. Thanks in advance for your cooperation.

Is this going to be referred to as the "Todd Statute"?

how far are we taking this it is pretty common for someone to brag about being over the 100 or 200 gallon homebrew mark. Or what about posters that are in states where homebrewing is illegal (even if not enforced) for example alabama, utah, and Mississippi.

I don't think our intent is to go that far. It's mostly to keep photos of the Bud of the Month (and similar topics) out of the public house.

You guys should really consider separate rules for the PH. (IMG:style_emoticons/brewboard/smile.gif)

Yeah, I'm probably the biggest PH advocate, but you ALL know that when allowed, we all act in a way we would never EVER act in public for real. Besides...I like hearing about people's homemade moonshine and such. And that's very much a brewing topic.

I think this should include some of the Hot or Not postings too. I'd say anything over 200lbs should be illegal.

Seriously though- Guys (and Gal)- Big brother is watching. The rules are not overly restrictive. I'd like to hear about some moonshine too- but if they want it off the board thats their call.

Not really necessary because stuff like this would likely show up only in the PH anyway.

Is talking 2319 in the PH enough of a reason to (IMG:style_emoticons/brewboard/irish.gif) his ass? Todd, you have said some offensive things but this is just too far.
