The more things change, the more they stay the same. Yawn.

Everyone, there's a new policy -- deal with it. If you can't deal with it, or if it causes intense moral outrage, there are many other boards on the web where you can discuss what you want, how you want, when you want. AltBev, Jess and the moderators identified a problem and took action. Again, if you don't like it, you have other places you can go.

+1
We are invited here by the site owners, however we need to abide by the house rules. simple as that

+3 You pay the bills, you get to make the rules. Besides, having recently shared an office building that housed the local ATF contingent, I know for a fact they scan the Internet for discussions of illegal activities. Whether they would ever land here or not I don't know.

That's plenty fair enough. "No... you can't leave your banana peel on the couch arm?" C'mon. <G>

There is a world of difference in discussing a hypothetical event and posting a photo that might lead authorities to force the sponsors to comply in tracking down a member. Who would want to be in a position like that in providing a free resource for us?

It's not the end of the free world.

Just think a bit before posting anything nearing a border?

You would think that such a rule would be unnecessary. However, that being said apparently it is needed. It is a simple case of, if we could police ourselves then there would be no problem. Sort of makes you wonder.
