HighTest doesn't live here any more. If we can come up with a good recipe, I'm in. Haven't done a group brew in a while.

At one time we had talked about doing a vanilla-cinnamon metheglin. Is anybody interested in something like that?

I collected 3/4 of the ingredients for Cruz's ABC and that's where that one stands right now.

Without brewboard moral support I dropped the ball on the vanilla-cinnamon metheglin as well. I'd be for it. Even be up for some research missions to a place that makes a decent one.... (IMG:style_emoticons/brewboard/winechug.gif)

your a part of Redstone meadery?, as many times as i've been to Boulder i never got the chance to stop in there. I definitely like the idea of a vanilla- cinnamon metheglin, my cruz will be going into bottles in about a month and will have some empty carboys taking up space

Count me in. With all the beer I've been doing, I'd like to make a mead for a change. Maybe something comparable, ABV wise, to Schramm's Fall's Bounty Cyser? The vanilla-cinnamon does sound really good.

I need to trick you into some kind of bet where you end up owing me a bottle of that stuff. (IMG:style_emoticons/brewboard/tongue.gif)

My votes:
Vanilla Cinnamon Metheglin (does anyone have a recipe?)
Fall's Bounty Cyser (revisited as a Fall Brew?)
Cruz's ABC revisted

By good you mean, it'll cause you to pass out in the bath tub good or are we talking awards here? (IMG:style_emoticons/brewboard/hehe.gif)

Considering that I am STILL working on that keg of Fall Bounty Cyser I'm going to give this one a run. I have a feeling the cinnamon will take plenty of time to mellow or go a little over the top on both the cinnamon and vanilla with intent to oak.

I like Mtn's idea of a vanilla cinnamon metheglin. If I am home, I would certainly like to try that as a group brew.
